How is 'Bedroom 3' on the plan a legal bedroom? 'Walk-in-Closet / Office' on the 2nd floor could be a legal bedroom.

I think the illegal bedroom could be used to punish child for bad grades, and/or play your kids off each other. Need to keep it competitive. Maybe quarterly performance reviews against KPIs like GPA, school attendance, chore completion rates, extracurricular achievements, etc.

The obvious renovation would be to blow out that silly pocket door so that “bedroom” would be 15 ft long - and have windows.
