Discussion about
I'm looking for someone who can audit my condo's energy use and find ways to cut costs. My ConEd bill is out of control, at $1000/month (#5 on the list of places people look first when they want to see the world). I keep it cold because I am old (senile), but that hardly helps! I've got an elderly person living with me, so that's as low as I can go on this bill. But is that really the crux of it? It's like charging an electric car all day long for a penny or two.Any ideas?

Dear bot, with this level of writing ability, you really should consider brokerage.

FP you raise an excellent point, and ChatGPT would do a much better job here.

Prompt: write a forum post complaining about your electric bill and the need for an energy audit

Result:

Hey everyone,

I just received my electric bill and it's through the roof! I can't believe how much I'm being charged for electricity. I know energy costs have been on the rise lately, but this is ridiculous. I've always tried to be conscious of my energy usage and turn off lights and appliances when they're not in use, but clearly, that's not enough.

I think it's time for an energy audit. Has anyone else had one done? Was it worth it? Did you end up saving money on your electric bill? I'm hoping that an energy audit will help me identify areas where I can cut back on energy usage and save money.

I'm also considering investing in some energy-efficient appliances and possibly even installing solar panels. But before I make any big decisions, I want to make sure I have a good understanding of where my energy is going and what changes will have the biggest impact.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thomas -- All the cheap energy is being used to power Europe and the delivery of weapons to Ukraine to defend their impeccable government and people against the evil Russkies. Thanks for your fine contribution to this effort via your electricity bill.
