Local Law 97 Questions

Discussion about
Are there reports that measure how easy or difficult (and expensive) it will be for any given building to comply with the new regulations? Are coops taking action and starting to invest or are they fighting the measure? And is there a way to know whether - and how much - it will affect maintenance fees? I have just spoken to a couple coop owners and get this sense this could turn out to be a real headache but grateful to know what the consensus seems to be.

It's a building by building evaluation, and the only fight I have heard is about trying to push out the implementation date- though my building is small enough that we don't need to worry about LL97 as it's currently written (and that could change in time). Take a look the The Cooperator - there are likely a few stories on that site relating to LL97.
