This is what REAL luxury condos and quality urban planning looks like. Contrast this to the ugly brown buildings of NYC, and there is no doubt that Chicago is superior.

Agree, NYC's buildings are fugly. But, if you're truly looking for "superior", try Miami. Great architecture on beachfront or marina property, surrounded by sunshine, coconut palms, mango and papaya trees, and hot models. Chicago? Corn-fed fuglies, dull midwestern personalities, shitty weather, and OK-looking buildings. If you're going to leave NY, that's great -- but go someplace NICE.

Admiral, i do like Miami a lot and have nothing bad to say about it. I'm glad we both agree that NYC has ugly buildings and ugly women.

"I'm glad we both agree that NYC has ugly buildings and ugly women."

Now we get the truth. Despite blowing his coin on an overpriced rental, this guy can't get laid even in Manhattan. That'd make me want to jet as well. Oh, I forget, there aren't enough "suitable" women for this dude. Happy trails!

P.S. Maybe if you changed your attitude, you'd have better luck with the ladies. Now, I suppose we'll hear about your "model girlfriend".....

Rufus - you krrp running away from the other threads you start once you are shown (once again) to be lying. Don't forget what alanhart posted for you:

Poor Chicago is in a bad way. Worse than any of us here in NYC realized. Perhaps we should take up a collection to help them out? Maybe we can have Rufus go there and kill a few of the giant rats that are roaming the streets in Streeterville, Gold Coast, Lincoln Park and the other neighborhoods that have been run into the gutter.

I've figured it out! Rufus was clearly rejected from every architectural school and firm where he applied, hence his intense hatred for NYC architecture. And he was clearly rejected by every halfway decently attractive woman he's ever hit on here, hence his intense hatred for the women of NYC.
It all makes perfect sense now.

and rufus that first picture you posted looks like a cross between Dubai and the new developments in Battery Park City. I'll take good ole Beaux-Arts and Art Deco architecture every day of the week over that stuff.

Right, the Woolworth Building, the Flatiron Building, the Chrysler Building, the GM Building, blah blah, Empire State...these are all abominations of U.S. architecture.

the tens of millions of people who have lived their lives, both working and living in this town have all been wrong and this anonymous Internet doofus is right. We collectively applaud you for making us lucid after all these years.
