Discussion about
I see a lot of the smaller, crappier buildings in my neighborhood with for sale signs. I know some of them are just brokers trying to get you hooked as a client and lead you to other properties, but others are from old owners looking to get out of the city. That sign seems to be the extent of their advertising, maybe just to see what they can get at this market. If they listed at say in NYtimes, by themselves and no selling broker, would streeteasy pick that up? Most of the search results here seem to be linked through agencies, thanks.

In Manhattan, I bet a lot of them would list through smaller neighborhood brokers who use an interface called OnLine Residential (OLR).

There is a public interface to OLR; it only picks up a fraction of what's in the system (and I don't know why that is) but hey, it's free.
