Harvey Messing

Harvey is the ultimate native New Yorker! Born and raised on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Harvey was fortunate to witness all of the amazing changes that occurred through the years in this great city. He attended the prestigious Bronx Science High School where he served as class President before heading off to University of Maryland. With Manhattan calling him back, and after a very successful career in the bar and restaurant business, he shifted his passion for elevating spaces and experiences towards real estate. With his amazing personal skills, he often bumps into people who know him on just about on every street corner of the city. Harvey partnered up with Elise Roberts Messing at her prior real estate firm and has been her partner ever since. Soon into that partnership, they tied the knot which is (in his words) the best deal he ever closed. They are #MarriedatCompass. Together, they joined Compass in 2017 and have recently joined The Ethan Leifer Team solidifying a great team of professionals, who all give 100% to their clients. With close to a decade of NYC experience, Harvey has learned to navigate the waters and found a fine balance between working with buyers and sellers alike. (Renters and landlords as well) In his free time, Harvey loves his NY sports team, his Maryland terrapins and enjoys spending time outside when weather permits. He also participates in charitable endeavors like Cycle for Survival, the Parkinsons awareness walks and St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Harvey was the founder and president of a chapter of BNI - Business Networking International as well as a member of his condo board before moving to the Westside where he currently lives with Elise, 2 sons and 2 dogs.
