It’s game time in Bushwick for affordable housing lotteries. On the heels of last month’s announcement for a 183-unit lottery at 123 Melrose St., an additional 100 affordable units are now being offered to qualified applicants at 10 Montieth St.

Rents for the studios, 1-bedrooms, and 2-bedroom units will run from $913 up to $1,183. See the chart below:

Eligible applicants must earn at 60 percent of the area median income. That ranges from $33,189 for a single person up to $62,580 for a four-person household.

To apply online, go to NYC Housing Connect. To request an application by mail, send a self-addressed envelope to: Montieth Street Apartments, Housing Partnership Development Corporation, 242 W. 36th St., 3FL, New York, NY, 10018.

Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 18, 2018.

The 100 new, affordable Bushwick apartments are part of the massive redevelopment of the former Rheingold brewery site — a city-within-a-city that will contain upwards of 900 apartments across the 10-block site. ODA is the architect for much of the project.

According to 6sqft, the property was originally set to be 30 percent affordable, but the developers lowered those requirements to 20 percent of the total units.
