A new affordable housing lottery has been announced for 1 Flatbush Ave. in Fort Greene, with 37 new units set aside for those who qualify.

The available apartments include 21 studios, eight 1-bedrooms and eight 2-bedrooms for those who make between $31,612 and $62,580 per year, or 60 percent of the area median income. Rents will start at $867 a month and go up to $1,123, varying with household size. See details below.

Designed by Hill West Architects, this is a combined residential and retail building rising 19 stories and containing 183 apartments. Hill West is also the creator of notable developments such as 1 Seaport, Sky and One Riverside Park.

Amenities include in-unit washers and dryers, a common area/lounge and a landscaped rooftop. An in-building gym will be offered for additional fees.
