Here’s how to enter the #StreetScapeSweepstakes!

1. Open the StreetEasy iOS app and click EXPLORE WITH STREETSCAPE
   
2. Use StreetScape to scan your dream residential building with available listings. You’ll know it has available listings when you see the orange diamonds pop up.
3. Take a screenshot of the building while using StreetScape and share on either Twitter or Instagram Stories, and include why you’d love to live there. Make sure the orange diamond is visible in your screenshot!
4. Tag @streeteasy and use #streetscapesweepstakes

The #StreetScapeSweepstakes begin Monday, October 3 at 12:01am EDT and end Friday, October 28 at 3pm EDT. The weekly $1,000 prize winner will be drawn at random every Friday at 4pm EDT, and StreetEasy swag winners will be selected at random throughout the week. OFFICIAL RULES

Please read these Official Rules before entering this sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements below.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals, who are legal residents of New York City, age 18 or older and located in New York City at the time entry is submitted. If you do not meet any of these requirements, or any other eligibility requirements in these Official Rules, you are not eligible to win the prize, and Zillow, Inc. (“Sponsor”) reserves the right not to award the prize to you. Employees, directors or consultants of Sponsor and their parent and affiliate companies, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, members and agencies that are involved in the development, administration, promotion, implementation or execution of this Sweepstakes or any of its materials, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children, including half-and step-family members) and household members of each such person are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

Timing: The Sweepstakes begins on October 3, 2022 at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on October 28, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”).  Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.  

How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, if you follow the directions provided below to post a screenshot to either Instagram or Twitter with the required information included, you will automatically receive one entry into the Sweepstakes, subject to the section titled ‘Limit’ below (each, an “Entry”). Note that your social media account must be set to “Public” prior to taking the actions described below in order to participate in the Sweepstakes. 

Directions for submitting an Entry:

1. Download the StreetEasy mobile app (the “App”) on one of the following iPhone models: XR, XS, XS max, or newer (devices released in the fall of 2018 or later) with an iOS version after 14.0, except for 15.4 and 15.4.1. 
2. While located in New York City, open the App and click on “Explore with StreetScape”.
3. Provide camera access to the App, if you have not done so already.
4. Click the “Got It” button when asked to “Explore Responsibly”.
5. Scan your desired building or neighborhood until you see a yellow diamond pop up.
6. Take a screenshot of the location with the yellow diamond featured (the “Screenshot”).
7. Upload the Screenshot to either Instagram Stories or Twitter and include the following information (on the screenshot on an Instagram Story and within the caption on Twitter): (a) a tag to @streeteasy, (b) the hashtag #streetscapesweepstakes, and (c) a reason why this building or neighborhood is a place you love.

Limit: You may only enter one time per day during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address or social media account. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification (including, for example, entries made using any script, macro, bot, or promotional services). In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

If participating in the Sweepstakes via your mobile device (which service may only be available via select devices and participating wireless carriers and is not required to enter), you may be charged for standard data use from your mobile device according to the terms in your wireless service provider’s data plan.  Normal airtime and carrier charges and other charges may apply to data use and will be billed on your wireless device bill or deducted from your pre-paid balance.  Each wireless carrier’s rate plan may vary, and you should contact your wireless carrier for information on data plans and charges relating to your participation in this Sweepstakes.

Prizes: Each of four grand prize winners will receive an amount of USD 1,000 paid either via gift card or ACH at Sponsor’s discretion (each, a “Grand Prize Winner”). Each of the 200 swag prize winners will receive a StreetEasy branded hat, or another item of StreetEasy branded swag, selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion (each, a “Swag Prize Winner”). The approximate retail value (the “ARV”) of all prizes to be awarded in the Sweepstakes is $4,600. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of the prizes will be permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Random Drawings: During each of the four (4) entry periods outlined below (each, an “Entry Period”), one (1) Grand Prize Winner and fifty (50) Swag Prize Winners will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the corresponding Entry Period (each, a “Prize Drawing”). 

(1) October 7, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. (Entry Period: October 3, 2022 at 12:00 a.m. through October 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.)

(2) October 14, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. (Entry Period: October 7, 2022 at 3:01 p.m. through October 14, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.)

(3) October 21, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. (Entry Period: October 14, 2022 at 3:01 p.m. through October 21, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.)

(4) October 28, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. (Entry Period: October 21, 2022 at 3:01 p.m. through October 28, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.)

Winner Notification and Announcement.  Sponsor will contact each potential winner via the social media account where they posted their Entry. Except where prohibited, the Grand Prize Winner will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability and Publicity Release (“Declaration”) which must be received by StreetEasy, within five days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent. If (i) the potential winner(s) of any prize cannot be contacted; (ii) the potential winner(s) fails to sign and return the Declaration or provide any other requested information, within the required time period (if applicable); (iii) the prize is returned as undeliverable; or (iv) if the potential winner is otherwise unable to accept the prize as stated, the potential winner forfeits the prize.  Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules.

Verification of Potential Winner. THE POTENTIAL GRAND PRIZE WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES.  AN ENTRANT IS NOT THE GRANT PRIZE WINNER UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE AND NO FURTHER ACTION IS NEEDED.

Representation and Warranty. You hereby represent and warrant that (a) you are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and you are a resident of New York City at the time of entry; (b) your entry is original to you and that you are the owner of all right, title and interest in and to your entry and have the right to grant the rights granted herein or; (c) your entry does not contain untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information; (d) your entry does not contain disparaging or defamatory statements, does not contain threats to any person, place, business, or group, and does not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm, against any group or individual or promotes discrimination; and (e) you have the unconditional right to submit your entry to Sponsor pursuant to these Official Rules, and your entry and the use thereof as contemplated herein does not and will not violate, misappropriate, or infringe upon any law or regulation or the rights of any third party, including, without limitation, any consumer protection law or regulation or any copyright, trademark, patent, or any rights of publicity or privacy, or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights.

Release: By entering into the Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, Twitter and their subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties) from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

Use of Winner’s Name, Likeness: As a condition of being awarded any prize, except where prohibited by law, the Grand Prize Winners may be required to execute a consent to the use of their name, hometown, aural and visual likeness and prize information, without limitation, for advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes without further permission or compensation.  By entering this Sweepstakes, you consent to being contacted by Sponsor for any purpose in connection with this Sweepstakes, even if you previously opted out of receiving marketing communications from Sponsor.

License to Entry: By entering the Sweepstakes and providing your Entry in connection with the Sweepstakes, you hereby grant to Sponsor a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, nonexclusive license to publish, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, adapt, edit, modify, translate, create derivative works based upon, and otherwise use and sublicense your Entry, or any portion thereof (including without limitation your name and likeness as shown and conveyed in the Entry), in connection with the Sweepstakes and for other advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes, and to incorporate Entries, in whole or in part, into other works in any manner, form, media or technology now known or later developed.  Sponsor will have no obligation to publish or use or retain any Entries you submit or to return any such Entries to you.  

General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in their sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, if it is possible. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by re-selecting the applicable Qualifying Winner(s) or Grand Prize Winner from the eligible prize claims.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, RELEASED PARTIES DO NOT MAKE ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS WITH RESPECT TO SPONSOR’S WEB SITE, INSTAGRAM, OR ANY PROMOTIONAL WEB SITE AND RELEASED PARTIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE CONSEQUENCES OF ANY INTERRUPTIONS OR ERRORS RELATED THERETO. THESE TERMS GIVE YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS.  THE PROVISIONS REGARDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE VOID IN SOME PROVINCES WHERE IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE PRESCRIBED BY LAW.

Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of such term or any other provision.

Disputes: Except where prohibited, you agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in New York City, New York; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain awards for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of  New York or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York.
