Discussion about
My contractor installed storage units around our heat/AC units. He pushed us to use dry wall mounted on some aluminum framing structure with thin wood panels across the front (so one can repair/remove the actual unit). I think it was a bad idea. The storage units themselves have been crap but the wood panels are now coming off (thanks to being dismantled one too many times for cleaning/replacing units). We could fix it ourselves but I'd rather just get a relationship going with a good handyperson for jobs like that rather than have him go undone for months on end. It seems like between these units, painting a room, etc. we have enough to keep someone employed for a few days with minor jobs but not enough to go find a new contractor. Thanks for any suggestions!
