I must say, I do think your condo index is the closest thing we have to understanding general price action in Manhattan. But I have one suggestion. Can you auto-adjust the y-axis range when you play around with the time series? When I squish the chart so I can see 2005 - present, the range of the trend is from 1.6 at its lows to 2.16 at its highs..but the y-axis starts at 0 and rightfully ends at 2.2. Any chance the y-axis can start at 1.4 or 1.5 or so, so the trend can be more easily interpreted? You can kind of see it the way it is now, but its not as clear as it could be given the runup we had from 2005-2007, and then the drop off in late 2008, and early 2009, and the reflation in late 2009 to present..
