I was very close to become an owner at this great building, but I encountered a situation that I wish noone ever goes through it like I did. The seller and his broker Peter Griffiths have been 2 of the most unprofessional and disrespectful people I have ever dealt with.
I was the best bid after a best and final and had my attorney working on the contract with the seller's attorney and they put it together in less than 10 days. Well, it seems that after asking for a best and final, they kept shopping around without telling us. It took me 3 days to sing the contract since my attorney recieved it. The day that I went to see my attorney and sign the contract, we got a call from them that they had better offers and that they were not going to move foward with my offer. A day after, they call again to tell me that they were moving forward with my offer and rushed me to overnight the contract to only find out the day after that they were not selling it to me.
Honestly, I have never dealt with 2 more unethical people than these 2 and hope I never have to deal with them again and that people are careful when dealing with them. Also, I would hopedthat brokers who work in a big firm like concoran were more respectul and treat customer more professional.
