We are looking at purchasing a 3 bedroom (2 bdrm with separate dining room that can be converted into a 3rd bdrm), 1 bathroom. The bathroom is "over-sized" in that it has a separate shower and bath. Moreover, the bath does not have a showerhead (?!). Can someone give me a ballpark figure on how much renovations would cost? In my mind, the renovations should be relatively easy because pipes and drains already exists. 2. Viewed purely as an investment to increase re-sale value, how much would you spend on adding a water closet? The coop is in a highly desirable location in Forest Hills, Queens. [less]
