I lived in this unit for years. Unit owner kept my security deposit without cause. The Unit flooded when balcony drains were blocked and it rained. Owner never paid for my damages. The windows seals are shot, leak and howl when it's windy. 53rd street is off the ramp for the FDR, gets ambulance traffic with loud sirens day and night. Southern exposure is great, but heat gain from windows in summer is extensive, and I had high electric bills from running A/C so much. It's a nice building, but you can find a better unit.
