Discussion about
Hi, I am first-time renting out my coop apartment and my broker asked me to forward the attorney contact to send the deal sheet she has negotiated with the potential tenant. The thing is, I didn't realize that I need an attorney for sublease my apartment until now, and thus it's an extra cost for me. There is a clear sublease package form from the management and I have a broker who's going to be paid by the tenant. And I had to lower the rent than I am paying combined for mortgage and maintenance to be attractive due to the broker fee. I also have to pay sublet fee to the board. I am already losing money while renting out the apartment. But the only reason I am renting out is I love my apartment and want to come back. Any advises would be helpful to me. It's such a stressful process....
