can brokers temporarily delist

My apartment is listed in street easy to try to rent it so I don't have to break my lease. The agent said she did not take the listing down, but I saw it delisted one day. Is there a way listing brokers can deactivate a listing for a day without it affecting the listing history? My management company is disbelieving of me.
