Hello, I'm interested in buying a property in Brooklyn. The DOB website says the property is SRO restricted, however on the same page the department of finance considers it a one family. The property has been in the hands of the same family for 80+ yrs and doesn't have a CO since it predates the 1938 code law. - Do I need a certificate of non-harassment in this case? - Will the DOB grant me a remodeling permit if I need a transform into a 3 family? thanks
