I feel as thought Dyker Heights is such a desirable area to live but not for nothing it is hard to find a nice multi-family home. Most need lots of work or gut jobs. I feel as thought Dyker Heights is such a desirable area to live but not for nothing it is hard to find a nice multi-family home. Most need lots of work or gut jobs. Take my listing on 6818 10th, its an attached home but, it has good sq footage and well maintained, with updated kitchen, nice yard, with pool..thou above ground, the downside is only no driveway... If it's an investment property, I see it as not the end of the world no driveway, I see the main highways nearby to get where you need to go a big benefit, that outweighs the driveway issue. I have many buyers that want to live in Dyker who can't find homes with driveways, that are worth the money, I say buy a 2 family in Staten Island and in the best area, they will get more bang for there buck not all the time, or use your home in Dyker as your investment property and personally move to SI.
