Rental at 120 Garfield Place

DO NOT RENT an apartment in this building. Jonathan Poole, the landlord of this building, failed to tell us that there is a bed bug infestation until we had already spent $150 on credit checks and $20 for money orders (fees that he will not return to us). At the lease signing he informed us that he gets complaints about bed bugs "every couple of months" and that one apartment in the building continually has bed bugs. He advised us to buy mattress covers and traps. I'm not sure who would move into a building with active bed bug issues, but think twice before renting from this landlord.
