gas shutoff

Hi, I live in a coop where our cooking gas was shutoff by Coned due to a gas leak. It has now been determined we have to re-pipe entirely. Meanwhile I am about to put my apt on the market. Will this affect my sale? Broker says no problem, except possibly when it comes to the appraisal. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue arise?
