Discussion about
I lived at 1515 Lexington Avenue (located at the corner of 98th street and Lexington Avenue) for a year, and left the apartment in a better condition that when I first moved in. Issa Amini (landlord) does not live in the building but has his office on the 1st floor. does not return the security deposit not will he include the interest which is supposed to accrue on your security deposit while it sits in the bank. This goes directly against the lease and New York law. He also will not tell you which address for the bank. You have to take him to court and file a claim. Go to 111 Centre Street, located off the Canal stop on the 6 train. Small claims court is on the 3rd floor . As a heads up, they only accept cash when you file.
