90 Franklin Water Hammering Issue

A quick note for anyone considering this building. My good friend previously rented this apartment and there is a major plumbing issue. They suffer from severe water hammering which is due to the pipes being pitched incorrectly. In short, when the heat clicks on it sound like someone is taking a hammer to the metal radiators and it will wake you up every hour or so. My friend had to move it was so debilitating, the entire family couldn't sleep. This is a building-wide issue and too costly for them to fix.
