I want to WARN all of you who interested in leasing this building. If you are minority(hispanic, asian, black, etc) The management company will treat you like garbage. - Paper thin walls will make you hear every single noise from your neighbor whether it's disturbing or inappropriate - The hallways here look like funeral homes - Residential Managers are big fan of RACIST and they only greets to WHITE - I honestly cannot believe this is happening in 21th century NYC. - They squander the definition of luxury building. - If you want to live here, be aware of random hard door-knocking at 3am in the morning, be aware of some staff "break-in" your unit claiming they have urgent maintenance, be aware of being yelled at like you are a prisoner. - I diagnosed anxiety and depression after living in this building. My psychiatrist told me I should talk to a lawyer about the experience I'm having in this building. - I lived in NYC for 6 years and in 6 different luxury buildings and 685 1st Ave is the place I regret living in. - For you happiness, please STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!
