whoever is pricing this must still be smoking the crack pipe - lots of vacancies - high prices for Manhattan, much less the heights - and more people losing their jobs every day - we will not come out of this mess until some reality sets in with landlords, developers and their enablers - agents - who keep telling them untruths to keep listings - and empty apt. is an empty apt - until somebody actually is willing to pay the freight. Wake up folks!

That's a really sad building; it could have been beautiful. I was considering renting there but the price/value equation is totally out of whack. It's a great location, but the renovation they did feels very cheap. I looked at 4 apartments there, and they all had warped floorboards, cheap small fridges stuck into spaces that were obviously meant for full -size ones, and worse of all, non-working air conditioners left in windows. There were also working AC's in other windows, which means that some rooms had TWO windows blocked, some that would have had a river or city view if not for the AC's. The prices for this botched job are astounding - for decent sized 1-bedrooms they were asking over 3K! I asked to see something in the $2500 range, and was told that it would be much smaller (500 sq. ft)and on a low floor. I walked away, and ended up with a much better deal from a private coop owner in the area.
