Discussion about
I like to occasionally Google Donald Trump, and other assholes like Rich Dad and click on the links. Costs them a dollar or two. Makes me feel good. ahhh
your handle is appropriate. Do you really believe it costs them? The more hits the moew others will pay to market with them....
lol well put manhattanfox
It all depends on where you click: if it's the AdWords ads, it costs. if it's the "natural' results, it doesn't. but you also don't know who it's costing. If you click on some AdWords ad for a Trump Condo, more than likely it's a broker who you are costing, not Trump.
And it's doubtful it's a dollar or two (but i never checked what those keywords were minimum at) more likely a quarter.
it's people like you that need to go out there and learn how to make your own money!! use ur time wisely instead of hating
I think it's 50 cents.

Nope, it doesn't. You're working off a way old algorithm. Higher CTR decreases your CPC and increases your placement, so you can actually SAVE them money by clicking...
nyc10022: it looks like you are following me around baiting me with stupid statements. Firstly, the statement you quoted and then said "Nope, it doesn't" is 100% accurate: AdWords clicks get charged to whoever has placed the ad, natural clicks don't get charged to anyone. PERIOD.
Secondly, Google's honesty about the algorithm it uses to determine CPC is mostly BS. But in any case, a worthless click (like the one's the OP is talking about) can never "save you money" because even in the most outlandish scenario, Google wouldn't/won't decrease your CPC by 50% for one click. Where do you come up with this nonsense? I guess you're just looking for a fight. Oh, well. The first person here I'll have to put on my "ignore list".
BTW I spend about $10,000 a month on AdWords for non RE related stuff for about the past 3 years. What's your actual hands on experience been?
30yrs - it's nothing personal.
