Soho Mews - lower or upper floors?

Hi everyone, I am an international resident interested in buying an apartment in Soho Mews as an investment but I am not sure whether I should buy an apartment on the lower floors or an apartment on the upper floors. In general, is it easier to sell an apartment on a higher floor than one on a lower floor? (i.e. Do New Yorkers prefer to live on higher floors?)

Higher, but that building is only eight and nine stories high, so doesn't much matter there. The Percentage of Common Interest increases very little as you go up in the lines.

I sold a loft next door to there (7 Wooster) and no one expects a view in SoHo, so it's pretty much all about the light. Buy the best light/most bedrooms that you can afford, and that will make the best resale.

I am happy to go with you to look at units if you don't already have an agent. Just email me at: ali [at] dgneary [dot] com and put "streeteasy" in the subject line.

i would just ask yourself if buying an apartment right off canal street is the wisest place to put your money "as an investment". especially since the prices there are still 2007 style. nice building though.
