Discussion about Union Square Flats at 56 East 13th Street in Greenwich Village
a little coverage on this thread

My take is these type of full floor lofts have a lot less "living" room compared to their foot print.
Add to that you have 2 sold floors with 6 remaining same size apartments to compete with.
Consider also these units can't even get $6k per month rent why would you pay over 1.2.
Home depot finishes.
Does any one know why they still have not cut the prices for remaining units despite the fact that lower floors sold for much less than original ask?
I was told from the top two floors have 4 exposures unlike the bottom floors that have 2. I saw the PH/8 floor and you get Empire state building views from the living room. The roof deck is also nice and huge but not fitted yet. On the asking price's are high, on the other hand I don't know too many true LOFT buildings on the cusp of the Gold Coast and Union Square. This is for someone with deep pockets who has he dough to do a reno and create something quite unique...in the future.
Curious what people thin are the extra exposures worth on 7th floor (no roof deck, no special view) relative to 6th floor. Extra exposures are lot line. Possible to lose them on one side as it is a rental building.
#7 and #8 have four exposures, #5 and #6 have three exposures, the rest have two. All extra exposures (#5 and up) are on the lot line.
Anyone buying unit #8 make sure they've rectified the discrepency on the roof space.
Supposedly you get the whole roof but that's not what was filed.
