Discussion about
An online auction startup defies reason. I go into details in my post: http://malcolmcarter.wordpress.com/2010/02/26/an-online-auction-startup-may-be-the-zaniest-ever/

Malcolm: I think Internet etiquette calls for you to post your thoughts here rather than using Streeteasy to advertise your own site.

West81st, thanks. The problem is that the information is way too long for this site, but I appreciate your comment. From the number of visits I get for auction posts--which can take hours to research and write--there does seem to be quite a lot of interest in what I unearth.
Not to rub salt into a wound, I found another auction of foreclosed properties to be held at the end of March: http://malcolmcarter.wordpress.com/2010/02/28/get-a-piece-of-the-fill-in-the-blank-at-new-auction/

Agree w/ W 81 - why not contact SE and ask about their advertising rates? Better yet, get an appliance box, cut some big rectangles, tie some string, and walk around the city with all your info written on said cardboard.

I'm happy to omit these posts if more than three of you think it's a good idea to do so. Frankly, it never occurred to me that I was breaching etiquette.
