Discussion about
i was watching HGTV and saw a house hunter show where they found a condo occupying the upper floors of a hotel. i think i saw a similar arrangement in NYC but can't remember where or if the developer removed it from SE due to economy. anyone know of a condo in hotel?

SoHo Trump is not a condo. There are limits to how long you can occupy the unit per year.

And I assume your joking Riversider, right?

riversider attempted to make a funny. hahaha.

how about a condo development where resales are virtually impossible? that would be lovely.

anyway, in terms of the earlier post, i believe the w hotel and residences will have such an arrangement. there are a few other places that do.

"found a condo occupying the upper floors of a hotel."

i think there is some confusion here in the question:

there is a big difference between a Condo with hotel amenities, and a building with a hotel on lower floors and a condo above (look at the Taft/Executive Plaza).
