Discussion about Riverwalk Place at 455 Main Street in Roosevelt Island
These people are screwed some of them bought at over $800psf for roosevelt island!!! Riverwalk Court a few buildings down is new and a much nicer building selling for $600 psf...Look at the units for sale in Riverwalk place not selling at all
Nina15 has not done her homework. Truth is, Riverwalk Place is a much better deal than Riverwalk Court. RP has much lower maintenance costs and they don't pay the extra monthly RIOC assessment tax. In the long run, RP will have a higher resale value anc command higher sales prices. Not to mention, almost all the materials including the windows were bought in China for Riverwalk Court - poor quality. If something breaks good luck getting replacements - talk about being screwed! In a few years when that place starts to fall apart, buyers will wish they had purchased in Riverwalk Place.
I went to a few open houses in Riverwalk Place it didnt look any better quality then Riverwalk Court which is a much nicer building. So why is RIverwalk Coutr selling and RIverwalk Place is not could it be the higher prices they are asking for a building that is not that great?
There is also one apt facing forclosure here so far
anyone have info on the forclosure place
It’s OK to wait for drops in prices. But Nina15's motives are unethical. I believe she is badmouthing individuals, groups of people, buildings, locations and services, to demoralize brokers, vendors, occupants and potential buyers, hoping to get the desired price decrease by her (see also her postings under the 415 Main St. in RI discussions on StreetEasy and comments about her attitude under that discussion group).
I am almost positive that Nina15 and User11 are the very same person, based on some linguistic forensics. I find it very unethical to use different names without disclosing the motive behind name changes or use of multiple names.
I have placed similar comments under the 415 Main St. discussions.
