Matt, go show them how it's done ... then next time they can clean their apartment themselves.

Honestly, you can't find something else to do with your time then post nonsense on SE every 30 seconds??

I've got somebody, but they're $$$. How big is the space, and what's your budget.

The space is 1500sqf, I would like to keep it under $500...

That's not going to get you a fantastic baseboards-so-clean-you-can-operate-on-them-type job, because all the really pro cleaners I know would charge you more than $50/hr., and a 1,500 sq. ft. post-construction clean is more than 10 hours of work. However, it should get you a decent job -- hire a friend's cleaning person (because you'll pay lower per hour that way) and be very specific about what's most important to you to have done -- i.e., "wipe out all the kitchen cabinets," "sweep out all the little grout bits from the bathroom, then vacuum," etc.

$500 - cmon - how much did you spend on the reno? get real with your stellar cleaing budget or do it yourself. swiffer works great on baseboards as well as dryer sheets and and a decent vacuum.

As Ali wisely pointed out, if you aren't spending the bux on a service, get someone to do it hourly and make a detailed list of what you would like done. $30/hour should do it.
