I'm with CC on this one, don't pretend with "whom" and for Christ's sake don't use "I" when you mean "me".

Rhino, seriously, you give yourself away pretty quickly. That's two new names in 2 or 3 days. This is even more obvious than when NYCMatt became bob_d.

Hones -- I know you threatened one poster and said things about her daughter that no decent person would ever say. StreetEasy probably took the thread down, but you know you did it. I'd be nervous about that, if I were you, because it means the site monitors are on to you. And how do I pay the bills? Is that supposed to be funny? I work, but I don't brag about supporting a nanny, like you do.

Hones -- If you have only made constructive comments, why are they always in gray? Everything with you devolves into an attack combined with patting yourself on the back about how hard you work, support your family, your child's nanny, etc. Who cares?

I put Columbia in a different camp because he apparently thinks I am an alter ego for another poster. I can't blame him, I guess, because there are some many obvious ones here (like w67unicorn); I have tried to assured him I am not someone else, but it isn't working. I can't doing anything about that. Hones, however, actually pretends to add something when his real goal is to attack. Then he has the nerve to threaten legal action? Worthy of scorn, rebuke, rancid pad thai and so on.

Midtowneast, please read carefully. Threats and insults are not the same thing. I can call you a piece of shit, which you are, but I would never dream of threatening you. Do you understand now?

Just realized going through your comments here that you're not terribly bright. I pay a nanny, I don't support her. I guess whatever you do for a living isn't as lucrative as "cheating" people all day is.

Invested? The search function on this site is very easy to use, even for someone who is not "terribly bright," so it didn't take me long to pick up on Jim Hones' M.O. and be repulsed. He seems extremely well-suited for his chosen profession, which allows him to live a life of luxury filled with nannies and pad thai.

You, on the other hand, simply go through the comments and start inane threads about posters based on their comments. Is that your definition of being "invested" in a discussion? It is just troll behavior.

Man, you are stupid. Saying "are you really a broker?" wasn't a true question; it was an expression of incredulity because I can't believe an obvious misanthrope/jerk like you has a job that requires so much interaction with people. But, as a rental broker, you are the lowest of the low, so that must explain it. On reflection, it seems to suit you perfectly.

Always amusing to me how people here slam a profession, but won't disclose theirs. As if they all work for non-profits to feed needy kids.

I don't need to reveal my profession to know that you don't have a real one. But, if you must know, I work at the New York Division of Licensing Services, specializing in real estate licenses. Okay, that was a joke. Thank God I don't work for a non-profit feeding needy kids; what a waste. I would rather collect a commission so I can pay a nanny and subsidize the local Thai restaurant.

Wow! I have to say that I am really put off by all of this bickering. As a Real Estate professional (I do BOTH rentals and sales)I was honestly expecting to find a very different conversation going on here. I just can't believe how much you all dislike one another! I think I might avoid these message boards in the future--too much bashing and not enough information. Good luck to all of you.

I don't know about the threat, but maybe you missed the threads where the daughter's sexual and medical history and private doctors conversations were revealed. Maybe you missed the discussion about how the daughter will remain under the financial control of the parents beyond their grave. Maybe you missed where the daughter was repeatedly used as a foil to prevent criticism of the parent.
I suspect the daughter would have remained out of bounds if the daughter was never put in play by the parent.
