I know this discussion is closed. But hoping someone will check in and see what I have to say as a renter. I've been here 2 years in Tower 2, and I have to say, though we're moving for a penthouse upgrade down the street, I am extremely unhappy to be saying goodbye to the building. The door and maintenance staff, and neighbors are the best - and that is saying something. We have exactly two people who live in our building who are known rude jerks, out of hundreds of units. That's not bad. No one stays 'new' for long here and are made to feel welcome. We have a high owner-occupied rate, so when you are a renter like me and integrate yourself into the community by just being friendly, you will be missed when you go and vice versa.

The building rules are plentiful, but the result is that noise and other distractions are kept to a minimum. In the two years we have lived here, the lobbies are quiet. The sound insulation is good, too - we have gotten no noise complaints (and we have three little kids), and even living next to others with kids and dogs, I have never had cause to complain about them. The elevators are well serviced and fast - restricting move times means that elevators are free in the evenings. The place is kept spotlessly clean, even though it isn't the fanciest lobby in the city, you'll always be happy to take guests through your building. In general, people here are courteous and wonderful. I am sorely, sorely going to miss this place. Were we to ever be able to buy an apartment, the Ruppert Towers is the first place I'd look, and I might even hold out to have something show up on the market. I can honestly say that it's a good building and a great community. If you're considering this place, give it an honest look and make a visit. You won't be sorry.
