Discussion about
I am direct buyer, and just got an accepted offer. The seller broker were asking for my mortgage application. She said that would be helpful when she talk/ask questions to the management company of the co-op building...Is this normal? Or is there any risk if I give her my mortgage application...for example, my banking account number is there....? Any idea? Thanks!

I just signed a contract on a Condo and the only thing we provided to the seller's broker was the REBNY form so she knew we were a qualified buyer. Same experience on other offers that weren't accepted. I believe this is all she should need from you, no need to share your mortgage app.

Others please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

She could (and is required to) use any info about you against you in negotiations.
