Discussion about
I'm looking for a pied-à-terre and like Bryant Park Place at 32 West 40th, but am concerned about the apparent high turnover of the units. Does anyone have any insights into this building? Thanks, Mike

I have no insight but you brought back memories, I remember looking at apartments there went when it was known as The Columns back in 1979. Back in those days Bryant Park was a cesspool. I remember the apartments being odd shaped, which is normal for a landmarked building, lots of sleeping lofts and not great light. I ultimately ended up on the Upper Westside which was pretty much also a cesspool at that time but the apartment was much bigger and brighter.

This looks like it is now a great location and must share this listing which is back on the market.

The buyer should put it in one of those Killz Primer commercials. Unless they keep it that way as a sort of shrine.

Wow. Just wow. Does it get rented or sold first?

Based on the floor plan it looks closer to 600 sqft than 750.
