Will skyscraper windows pop out?

Just wondering: do windows in tall Manhattan modern buildings fall out? In Miami they have storm windows, don't they. If waters flood around buildings in BPC, for example, is that a massive cleanup job that will close the buildings for a while?

Manhattan is a new, untested city, which has no experience with adversity. So we won't know until we have our first high winds ever how this will affect skyscrapers.

The Mayor in his morning press conference, recommended for anyone living at 10th floor or higher to stay away from the windows or move to a lower floor.

Reallynow: Yes, most new Miami buildings have hurricane resistent glass - its just very, very thick glass that can withstand winds up to a Cat 3 or 4 storm. This has removed the need for the old "hurricane shutters" that you see on older condo's - aluminum shutters that you would hand-crank into place which would protect the glass from the wind - they were functional but ugly.

In NYC, i know of some newer buildings with glass being rated to 75mhh - so they might survive a Cat 1 storm. Or might not! A cat 2 or 3 storm (which i've never heard of in NY) which blow them out easy.
