How many days will it take to complete and how many people will be working on the job? I just completed a renovation. For the the work you listed about I pay a daily rate of anywhere from $120-$160 per day per worker. I don't see all the work about taking more than 2 days.

Understand that to have a skilled insured tradesman do 4 days work in occupied space (IE your home) is high liability condition for a contractor. The opportunities to lose time and money abound.
The cost of submitting the required paper work to be allowed to work in NYC buildings is a higher % of the overall cost of the job. A $3,000 job takes as much time to submit on as a $30,000
Soft cost, travail & clean up time, working a 6 Hour day, only being allowed to work with dental tools, and having the job stopped if one disturbs the neighbor’s dog. Having to deal with “renovation rages “that cone take the form of clams of cracking the ceiling below to causing instability of the slab & down stairs neighbor.
Sorry for the rant--- the prices are way fine.
