Has anyone seen this development? Any feed back on the finishes? I am also interested in what people think of this area of Williamsburg (the Graham "L" stop).

I've seen it twice. Don't know much about finishes, but these are very similar to other new buildings in the area. This is a long way from the "excitement of bedford" and close (too close?) to the bqe, but it's a nice, quiet, residential street.

only "railroad like" in that they are long/skinny instead of boxed. but what difference does that make when you don't need that little middle room alcove area to be a roommate bedroom? you still have a sizable living room in the front, unlike traditional railroads.

the large windows in the front and back and the high ceilings make it feel bright and open. it's my favorite development for the price right now in north wburg, and i feel like i've seen them all.

martine78, haven't seen this particular development, so won't speak to that, but will say that this area of Williamsburg is definitely grittier than anything around Bedford or McCarren Park. The nice thing is, you're within walking distance of a lot of good shopping and amenities (there are a few delis/restaurants around Graham Ave, and you're close to Pete's Candy Store for drinks), and not too far from the Park itself. I don't like being so close to the BQE (it's not particularly attractive), and I would see if you can find anything similar on the other side of the BQE, but you could do worse than this location. It will probably take a couple years for this particular spot to "catch up" to other parts of Williamsburg, so if you're looking here, your timeline should be longer and you need to be honest with yourself about how patient you're willing to be. This is all subject to taste of course. Good luck!
