My 120v electric Stoves wall oven (a British brand) has ceased to operate. In response to my email, the company sent me the installation instructions for the nonworking Stoves unit which provided me with the cutout dimensions. Since 120v electric ovens are no longer manufactured, I must buy a 240v oven (and upgrade the electrical connection). Due to the relatively small height of the cutout (23.5"), it took awhile to find a replacement oven that would fit the cutout dimensions. I finally found one (a Smeg unit), but it is 1.75" shorter in width and ~ 0.5" shorter in height than the Stoves unit. Questions: 1. Where can I buy a trim kit for a wall oven (most seem to be for microwaves). 2. Does anyone have recommendations for kitchen appliance installers who can do both the installation and the trim kit? Thanks much. [less]
Wavedeva,
I think the problem you will have is that most of the manufactures supply their own trim kits for their own products. Does Smeg not offer them? I do not recall ever being able to just go out and get a trim kit, you might have to have a metal shop custom make it. Will not be a cheap option
@Primer05 Thanks for your quick response. After I did a search for wall oven trim kits, I see exactly what you mean:

I'm hoping a custom job for trim is cheaper than ripping out and installing a new cabinet whose woodwork probably wouldn't match what's already in place.
Waveedeva,
It might cost the same. Can you send me a picture of your kitchen? I t might be cheaper to get a new cabinet,
Please email a picture of the front and back of the door
