Discussion about
Do Zillow/Trulia/Realtor.com have listings not available in StreetEasy? Does anyone know how StreetEasy puts in their listings? What other sites would you recommend? I am assuming the number of listings are probably lesser than other sites like zillow (could someone advise?), but I like StreetEasy as bogus/irrelevant listings aren't there and useful info like sales or rental history is presented in good format, also like the ability to search multiple neighborhoods more easily.

Streeteasy is most comprehensive list of apartments for sale in manhattan. Directly fed by brokerage houses. There really is no other or better source for manhattan.

Plus SE has the best talk section.

Everything else is tiresomely spammy, address undisclosed, bait/switch.

And not as easy to use. Buy Folio might be decent, but I find the site too cumbersome to bother much with. I usually run any listing of theirs through Streeteasy, and the full info pops up in one place. I have noticed that Buy Folio gets some listings a day or two before Streeteasy, but SE is so much easier to use ...

Trulia shows lots of listings with units for sale but it's not particularly helpful because they usually don't show the monthly fees. There's a world of difference between a $500K co-op with a $900 monthly fee versus a $500K co-op with a $3,500 monthly fee, yet you usually can't find that info on Trulia. In contrast, fee info is almost always listed here on Streeteasy, and if you can't find it for a particular unit, you can look at the previous sales to see what the range of fees are for similar units. I have not found any units listed on Trulia that are *not* on Streeteasy, so why go anywhere else?
