Any thoughts on getting jumbo (2mm+) mortgage? what to look for, what works, what does not..
I tend to avoid clowns. People with red noses and big shoes are terrible at making jumbo loans.
I had a really great experience w Wells Fargo (Brian Doulin). It was not our first rodeo, but it was much the best. I did my dd this time too with other brokers, and Wells had the best rate on the product we wanted and the service was amazing.
Chase worked out really well for us. Great service and rates
Mellon.
TD was great on rate, structure and leverage as was wells. wells was less flexible on leverage which is why i ultimately went with TD
Bank of America.
*snort*.
