Anyone heard of these painters? They were referred through servicemagic.com. Mike Sdregas of DMS Contracting Josko Painting CertaPro Painting I'm getting estimates of $2000 for ~700 sq ft area (JR4 living/dining room, kitchen, foyer, and small hallway) one coat primer, two coats Benjamin Moore paint (single color, eggshell finish) on just the walls (~9-10ft ceilings) and caulking some cracks along the molding. Also, does anyone know if it costs more to paint with the furniture in the apartment?

I had a post a few months back regarding painters and what was a reasonable price. I ended up going with Michale Kuhn of Mike's Painting (212.874.2303). He did an excellent, top quality job. Very reasonably priced, and quick and dependable.

I have some photos of my place and his work if that would help. But I would give him a call and get an estimate. He is Manhattan-based.

Price sounds pretty reasonable. Certainly not at all outrageous.
