BED BUGS at 54 East 8th Street

Discussion about 50-54 EAST 8 STREET at 50-54 East 8th Street in Greenwich Village
A decent building despite the land lease (which has been extended to 2070) but the Bed bugs are a major problem. Can't speak to all specific units but there were issues on multiple floors and definitely multiple times in unit 3T and on higher floors (where I lived briefly). I lived in an apartment there but have moved out of the building. Good luck...

I have lived in this building for over 12 years and only heard about bedbugs once, when I was told there was a very swift and appropriate response. I know you can't control your neighbors or horrifying critters but I would not identify this as an ongoing issue with our building. I will say that the electricity needs to be upgraded. All of gas was redone 2 years ago.
