Discussion about
I noticed that one bedroom apartment in 50% LTV building seem to stay on the market for a really long time despite a price that seems reasonable. However, much higher 2bd go much faster. Which is too blame - the ltv or the 1 bd status?

Both in combination- the percent of the 1BR buyers market that can do a deal <50% LTV is much smaller than the percent of the 2BR buyer's market that can.

that can do a deal at under 50% LTV is much smaller than the part of the 2BR buyers market that can.

Agree with crescent; I would guess that majority of people looking for 1 bedrooms do not have the resources for 50% down; those who do have the resources to put 50% down are generally looking for bigger apartments. The 50%-down 1 bedrooms generally only work for financially secure empty nesters, pied-a-terres and individuals/couples without children, so buyer pool is limited and they sit until just the right buyer comes along.

But multicityresident, you bought a 1 bedroom, right? Did you put 50% down?

I don't understand the "but" at the beginning of your question. How is my purchase inconcistent with what I wrote?

I like how you focus on the "but" but don't deal with the question I asked and avoid if your own facts are inconsistent with your "guess [about the] majority". Very Clintonian. Or as they say in 2015, very Trump.

How is my personal situation relevant? OP asked a question and I put out an answer for further discussion or not. BTW - I am cringing for how Hillary handled the e-mail server questions. She knew exactly what the question was, and I did not appreciate her "you mean wipe it with a cloth?" comment. I don't know who is advising her, but FWIW, I wish she had simply responded that she directed someone in her employ to remove her personal e-mails from the drive that she turned over, IF that is what she did. It appears to me that IS what she did, but I have no idea because she has refused to answer the question. I absolutely get why people might have a negative reaction to that. I actually think she could learn a few things from Trump in the communications department. Say what you want about him (delusional is a word that comes to my mind), but I do think that people perceive him as honest and straightforward.
