Elmhurst Pre-war building $600 electric bill?

I have lived here for two months. Can this possibly be correct by any measure? I do not have an A/C, I do not have a TV, the only things that stay plugged are: a fridge that is about the 2/3 the size of a normal one, a wifi router/modem combo, and a Macbook Pro computer. Lights off most times. What's going on?? Do I dare pay this as-is?

Estimated or actual bill? It could be that you're getting estimated bills based on a previous occupant's heavy usage. I'm assuming you do not have electric heat or water heat, which together could easily cause a $600 bill. Call ConEd.

Are you using one of those PTAC systems to heat your apt?
