Discussion about
Any advice on where to look for a rug that is between Home Depot and ABC?
This is for your floor or are you bald?
Good one! Floor.
If it's your taste:

Customized to almost any size, shape, color and available in wool.
Try Overstock or ABC outlet. I purchased some wool rugs on sale from both and was very satisfied.
Broadway Carpets, 1285 2nd Ave. They made up some room size rugs for me (wool, sisal weave, wide canvas border binding). Very happy with the results & price.
I wouldnt buy any rugs without at least going to ABC outlet in the bronx.
Ive bought rugs 80% off list.
And the amount of selection under 1 roof doesnt exist anywhere else.
10 mins by car. Im sure accessible by subway and will deliver.
I like overstock but some things you need to touch/see live.
Some great choices here: http://dolmarugs.com
Thank you all!
these guys are great and they're only about a half-hour from NYC (in NJ) http://1800getarug.com/
They have a lot of their stock online, with prices and excellent photos. Very reasonable prices, knowledgeable sales-people and great customer service.
I also like Safavieh in New Rochelle (I think it is an outlet). Ask for Reza.
We got ours from Dolma rugs. Run by Napelese sisters. Excellent service and reasonable prices.
Starck Carpets
ABC outlet is a good start
