Discussion about
So this guy signed a legally binding contract where it said he'd sell my his condo and then decided to back out of it a couple of days before closing. I gave him the deposit and everything but he doesn't want to sell it still. Can I bring him to court and force him to sell sucessfully?

Didn't you have a lawyer draft your contract? Talk to them... Why are you asking here?

And yes you have recourse, the seller can't just back out unless you agreed to a contingency that lets them out.

This may need to be resolved in court , take months and months , and cost tons of money

I always thought jipped was supposed to be spelled gypped. Also now i think its politically incorrect to say too? It used to be such a common phrase growing up in the 70s/80s.
