This unit is obviously zoned 'medical' and in 30 years I have never heard of the city giving a variance for a to change a medical space to residential. The broker states "the board has given ok". Really? Does the Board have the authority to change city zoning or give a variance? I don't think so. So unless the buyer of this unit is a doctor practicing medicine, than they will be living in violation of the law and can be forced to vacate the unit by a phone call by anyone to 311
