Discussion about
I’m 24 and just completed MBA and wanna build career in real estate. Thinking to undergo the real estate training program from RoyalLe Page, Mississauga. I would like to know whether being a real estate agent is career oriented or not? Can anyone suggest me how to start career in real estate?

A career in real estate sales is dependent on what you put into it. Your question references a Canadian company and this is a New York City centric real estate site- I am not sure what the differences are in Canada (i.e. Laws/ Legal Requirements/ Compensation, etc) so I can't comment appropriately to your question. In NY- you only need to be 18 years old and complete 75 hours of training via an approved school, pass a school and state exam (unless you are an attorney- in which case you are exempt) and then need to select a broker to work with. You don't need any specific background or education. Since you mentioned you just completed an MBA- it might prove helpful, especially with regard to real estate finance areas.

You don't need any skills, talent or experience to become a broker
