Discussion about 907 Fifth Avenue #MAIS_A
in order for the space to be a doctors office it must be zoned as medical space and therefore can only be used by a licensed doctor for their medical practice. Will the city give a variance? Not to my knowledge.

Einstein, are there any good maisonettes on the UES that don't face this issue? What have you seen lately that might be easier?

It's nothing to do with zoning. The building gets a new CofO from the Department of Buildings for the change of use. They did that a few years ago for 1E on the other side of the building.
